The Mount Horeb Music Boosters offer both financial and volunteer support to Mt. Horeb school music programs. Please consider contributing your time and talents!
Concert donation basket holders
Consider helping in this fun and easy way! Boosters raise funds to support our school music programs through free will donations collected at the end of school concerts. Each concert needs 2-6 basket holders, depending on where the concert is held.
It's an easy way to help...you just need to be at the concert to stand outside the doors afterward and collect donations. Detailed instructions are e-mailed at signup.

Volunteers for Music Events
Many Booster events take an army of help...from providing baked goods for concessions, to assisting with ticket sales for the Viking Band Show, staffing Taste of Jazz, making meals for High School Musical performers, or helping with the Solo and Ensemble Music Festival. Please consider contributing!
Consider serving in a Booster's leadership role! Anyone is welcome to attend our regular Boosters meetings to learn more about how we operate and contribute ideas. There are many ways to get involved: attend meetings and help guide our activities; join one of our various committees; or serve on the Board of Directors.

Middle School Music Room
We are selling Spirit Wear! A portion of the proceeds will help support school music events, field trips, visiting artists and music scholarships. If you are interested in purchasing any items, please click on the link below to place your order. Orders need to be placed by November 27th at 2:00 pm. Items can then be picked up at the High School band/choir concerts on December 17th and 18th. Otherwise, you will be able to pick up your order at Mark It, December 19-21.

Boosters are proud to announce the
Patty Schlafer Music Education Fund
To recognize Patty's longstanding contributions to the Mt. Horeb school music program, and to continue to honor her legacy after her recent retirement (2018), the Music Boosters have named a new, ongoing scholarship in her honor:
The Patty Schlafer Music Education Fund
The impetus for this program comes at the instigation of Patty herself, who encouraged a scholarship to provide additional support for students wishing to further develop their interest in music.
The initial focus of this new scholarship program will be to provide support for private lessons to supplement school instruction for students. Details will be available in the 2018-19 school year.
The Mount Horeb Music Boosters will continue to offer financial support to 6-12 grade students attending music programs (summer music camps, WYSO and Winds of Wisconsin), as well as students participating in the state Honors Music Project in band, orchestra or choir. Exact amounts of support are based on funds and number of applicants. In recent years student scholarships have covered more than $100 of music program fees and Honors Project participant fees.
Applications are due October 15th for the prior year's participation
